The Seed!

The Seed!

From an earlier time, a seed had been planted in the earth, whether dropped from up high above accidentally, or planted with a purpose of growing into a magnificent plant, or an awesome wonder of a tree. Yes, that thriving little seed will die, and within its death, supernatural forces will cause the seed to start sprouting roots and as those roots catch hold to the earth; the seed will be forced to sprout into a small green plant. Now through its sprouting, this small, green, tender, plant has to endure the hardships of the life that it has been given. None the less, it will still be destined to reach its full potential that is also expected of it. Yes, this tiny seed will endure everything that Mother Nature has to throw in its direction, and yet in still, chances are, it will still produce a harvest of its intended purpose, providing that it was planted in good soil.

We as individuals are also a seed that must sprout into our desired destiny that has been chosen for us by God the Father. As the Bible states, He knows the plans that He has for us. However, we must look at ourselves as being a seed from more than just one perspective. We are also considered to be the ground. For out of the dust God formed man, then He breathed into the nostrils of that man and he became a living soul. As you may already know, when our bodies die, they will be returned to the earth and our bodies will be transformed back to the dust from whence we came. With that being said, this leads me to elaborate a little further on this matter. There are many different types of seeds, therefore, we must realize that even though we are all the same in many ways, we are also that much more different than each other. Perhaps, you may understand this analogy: God has placed within me a different type of seed to bring forth a different harvest than you may be able to produce. My understanding of knowing what type of harvest I must produce, enables me to allow the seed within me to sprout and bring that particular fruit into existence.

All of the ingredients that we need to produce the fruit of God’s intent for us has already been placed within us by Him. You cannot be the exact duplicate of me. You may possess some of the same ingredients that I may have, but your fruit will be your fruit, and not my fruit. Therefore, we must thrive to become what God has designed us to become. He designed each of us with a specific purpose and He expects us to fulfill that destiny with no limits. God is our provider and He will provide all that we need to allow us to fulfill the purpose that He has placed on the inside of us. Moreover, He has already provided us with everything. It is up to each one of us to receive what has already been made available to us through God’s Grace.

As stated earlier, we are a seed that has been planted in the earth by God, and just as a seed has to die and then start sprouting to enable it to spring fourth, we too must do the same. From one perspective, our old lifestyle must be transitioned from our natural birth into a new birth. We must be born again into the body of Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Ghost for guidance throughout this new life. This will allow us to become fruitful with the Father’s desire for us, as we spring fourth to bear the fruits of our destiny. Now, on the other hand, when we have fulfilled our destiny of the Father’s will for us and we transition from this life into the next life, our bodies will be planted in the earth for a season. After that season has passed, our bodies will be resurrected from the grave to be caught up with our spirit, and we will spring fourth as a new creation with a new body that will never die again. Our enablement to spring fourth into our new everlasting life with Christ will have come from our sprouting new sprouts in this life that we now live. Therefore, we too can expect to receive a supernatural resurrection of our seed that will take place on that day of harvest that has been set aside by God, the Creator.

The seed….there is yet another aspect of the seed. Every fragment of life consist of a seed, therefore, I must inform you that the Bible is full of seed. The Word of God is seed and as we read or hear the Word of God, it becomes implanted within us. For we are the soil, and we are challenged to become good soil to enable the seed to catch root and grow. How do we become good soil, one may ask? First we must believe in the Word of God and accept His Son as our Lord and Savior. In order to make the seed grow, we must water that seed (Word) through our faith in knowing that God cannot lie, and every word that is spoken in the Bible is true and it is a promise from God unto us. Through our understanding of knowing what has already been made available unto us, we now are able to render praises of thanksgiving to our Father for what He has blessed us with, and by doing so, the seed that has been implanted within us will sprout and catch root and spread throughout our entire being. I ask that we all keep in mind the importance of the seed: without it we will have no growth, fruit, or harvest. Be blessed and have a wonderful day! By Keith M. King
